This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, storage, and disclosure of personal and business data submitted to Prescient Industries Private Limited ("Company", "We", "Us") through this website and its associated digital forms. This Policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and applicable Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) guidelines.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of business information submitted voluntarily through our Bulk Order and OEM Inquiry portals:
- Company name, trade name, and registered address
- Contact person's name and designation
- Business email address and phone number
- Product selection, quantities, and logistical requirements
- Inquiry type (Bulk Supply / OEM / Private Labelling)
We do not collect sensitive personal data (as defined under Rule 3 of the IT Rules 2011) such as passwords, financial account details, biometric data, or health records.
2.Data Protection & Reasonable Security Practices
In compliance with Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Prescient Industries Private Limited implements Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures to protect all B2B client data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Our technical safeguards include:
- AES-256 Encryption at Rest: All inquiry data submitted via our portal is stored on Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard AES-256 encryption, ensuring that stored records cannot be read without the correct cryptographic keys.
- TLS 1.3 Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3), preventing interception.
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Our database employs granular, role-based access controls so that only authorised personnel can view submitted inquiry records.
- Minimal Data Retention: Data is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfil business inquiry obligations and is deleted upon written request.
These measures align with the IS/ISO/IEC 27001 information security standard adopted as a reasonable security practice under Indian law.
3.Legal Recognition of Digital Records & Electronic Submissions
In accordance with Section 4 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which grants legal recognition to electronic records, and Section 5, which recognises electronic authentication, all submissions made through the Prescient Industries Bulk Order and OEM Inquiry forms constitute legally recognised electronic records.
Specifically:
- Every form submission is timestamped and stored as an immutable electronic record in our Supabase database.
- By checking the consent declaration on the inquiry form, the submitting party provides a legally valid electronic acknowledgement equivalent to a written signature for the purpose of B2B inquiry initiation.
- These records may be admitted as evidence in any legal or regulatory proceeding in accordance with the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 (as amended by the IT Act).
4. Purpose of Data Processing
Data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Processing and responding to B2B bulk supply and OEM inquiries
- Contacting the submitting company for order fulfilment coordination
- Maintaining internal records for compliance and audit purposes
- Improving our procurement portal experience
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5.Data Sharing & Disclosure
Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- Internal Operations: With authorised Prescient Industries personnel (Sales, Dispatch, Compliance) strictly on a need-to-know basis.
- Legal Obligation: With government agencies, courts, or regulators when required by law, court order, or regulatory directive.
- Infrastructure Providers: Our hosting provider (Supabase / Vercel) processes data solely as a data processor under contractual confidentiality obligations.
6. Your Rights as a Data Principal

8.Industrial & Chemical Disclaimer — GHS & CPCB Compliance
Prescient Industries Private Limited manufactures and supplies speciality agro-chemicals and industrial chemical formulations for legitimate B2B use by licensed agricultural input dealers, manufacturers, and registered entities.
The Company expressly disclaims all liability for any misuse, unauthorised application, improper handling, or unlawful disposal of chemical products once delivered to the purchaser. All chemicals supplied are accompanied by Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and applicable standards prescribed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
The purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to the Insecticides Act, 1968, the Hazardous Waste Management Rules, 2016, and all state-level pollution control requirements. Prescient Industries' liability ends at the point of delivery in accordance with the agreed terms of trade.
9. Updates to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our data practices. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our inquiry portal after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
